Ten on Tuesday – 10 Favorite Sounds

1. Waves crashing down the shore – I could listen to this all day

2. Acoustic guitar playing in the background while said waves are crashing

3. Raindrops tapping on the window

4. Laughter outside the room. It makes me feel comforted (that I’m not alone in the house) and excited (that a visitor is about to make her/his presence known)

5. My favorite alternative songs on the radio, iPod, CD player

6. People laughing softly in nice restaurants. It makes me want to listen what they’re talking about.

7. A giggling baby

8. Piped in music in elevators inside five-star hotels

9. Rooster signaling the start of morning. Reminds me of childhood days

10. My husband and daughter’s peaceful breathing.

    Great list….
I thought I was the only one who loved to listen to the quiet breathing on my children and husband.

    Have a beautiful day

I can relate to the rooster crowing but I can’t say I like the sound of them if they can’t tell time. A rooster that crows at 4:30 in the morning is one i’d like to duct tape. A rooster that crows around 6:30-7……….wonderful.

  4. Great List!! Hope you have a great week!!

Giggling and laughter seem to make several lists. What’s better?

I absolutely agree with all your sounds. We even have a rooster that lives across the street (and we live in town) who greets us every day with a nice cock-a-doodle-doo! :)
