Ever since I gave birth, I got addicted to all kinds of weight loss tools. I’m not saying I’m obsessed to lose weight or anything but I just love the idea that with the help of a calorie counter, you can control your weight gain/loss easily. Right now, I am a frequent visitor of FitClick.com. This site offers free tools that can help you achieve your weight goals and also offer a way to live a fit and healthy lifestyle. With so many diet plans to choose from, it’s just hard to know which one will work for you. It’s not always a 100% guarantee just because it worked on a certain celebrity or even a friend. When it comes to dieting, it’s never a one-size-fits-all package. You should be focused and dedicated if you really want to lose weight.
There are plenty of tools at FitClick.com that can help you do it right. Their calorie calculator for example lets you input your age, height and weight, gender and it will give you:
- the amount of calories you should take for maintenance only, if you’re happy with your current weight, that is.
- weight loss level, the number of calories you should take if you want to lose approximately 1lb a week.
The results are just guidelines (thank God for that) but it will help you plan how much you need to take each day. As for me I got 1621 calories a day in order for me to maintain my weight. Not much but with a few adjustments to my breakfast and snack, I guess I can limit it to 1800 tops. I also selected Sedentary for my activity level – seated at a desk the whole day but didn’t take into consideration that I’m also breastfeeding and walking a lot while carrying the baby. Those two alone should be enough to burn extra 500 or so calories in one day.
