Design – Keep It Simple and Stupid

Making a healthcare job bank pop design-wise is definitely not easy. Apart from the lack of content, there aren’t enough web sites that I can draw inspiration from. They all look the same so it’s really up to me to come up with an eye-popping design with a user-friendly interface. Since most people in the health care industry or job-related sites for that matter don’t really go for out-of-the box type of designs, I’m going to make it simple as possible. What they need is a big box for entering keywords for their job search, a listing of all jobs available and a visible signup or login if needed. This type of interface will work best with a web 2.0 design or even a flat, all-white design with use of one or two colors to make the elements pop. That’s all there is to it on my end. Now that I’ve figured out what to do, I just need to find the right color scheme that will appeal to them and I’m good as done.
