Office ergonomics is gaining so much popularity nowadays, that more and more companies are adapting these principles when choosing the furniture in the workplace like when it comes to an office desk chair.

Employees spend a minimum of 8 hours per day at work and most of them spend these good 8 hours sitting. A comfortable discount chair then is a must as an ergonomic chair can provide the needed support for the spine to prevent any back and neck pain. read more »

New Sleeping Habits

Got a coupon for latex mattress via mail today. It’s perfect timing because we need to upgrade my daughter’s mattress soon. Since she’s highly allergic to dust and mites, it’s important to get only the safest and best product that our budget can buy. Aside from it having to be hypoallergenic, it needs to provide maximum support so she won’t hurt her back. Giving her the best sleep is our top priority because school can get tiring for her.

Online deals and coupons are just perfect for people like me who’s always on a budget. If I get more side projects, I would like to upgrade our mattress in the master’s bedroom as well.

Music in the Family

My youngest loves playing with the paiste cymbals that she saw from her sister’s field demo in school. The musicians were very nice to lend it to her. It was a pretty picture and very scrap-worthy. Too bad my phone died at the exact moment she went crazy over the cymbals. So now the husband is having all the helpers clean our storage room in order to find his old drum set. My suggestion to buy a toy set was ignored. He said his baby needs a real one just in case she is musically inclined just like him.

I rarely post my WANTS on this blog but this one is an exception.

The GF3 is a well-specified camera, which is characterized by hassle-free ergonomics, and is capable of very satisfying results. As such, it is well-placed to lure owners of compact cameras who desire better image quality and the opportunity to begin exploring advanced exposure controls and camera settings. Ultimately the GF3 succeeds in offering these users a range of features which may be completely new to them but in a package that is neither intimidating nor prohibitively costly.

Other features include:
- Rangefinder-style mirrorlessbody type
- 4000 x 3000 maximum resolution
- 12.1 megapixels sensor photo detectors
- CMOS Sensor Type, 5 White balance presets, 2 Custom white balance, Contrast Detect (sensor)
- Multi-area, Selective single-point, Tracking, Single, Continuous, Touch, Face Detection
- Live View autofocus with 2x and 4xdigital zoom
- Micro 4/3 Lens Mount, 2× Focal length multiplier
- Articulated LCD
- 60 sec Minimum shutter speed, 1/4000 sec Maximum shutter speed
- Aperture priority, Shutter priority, Manual exposure mode
- Built-in pop-up flash. 6.3 m Flash range
- 1920 x 1080 Video Resolutions
- USB Connectivity and HDMI–Ready
- includes Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery & charger

So I found a voucher offering 35% savings which is about $200 off the total cost. It’s a pretty good deal. However, not sure if I can get it at the same price on other stores. Some of these groupon sites make you think like you’re saving a lot when you buy from them but actually, you are paying the same price as the other stores. You just have to know where to look. We’ll see. This is a great alternative to our DSLR and did I mention how lightweight it is?

Work Schedule

My day to day schedule can get crazy sometimes. For one, I got about a dozen items that I need to buy before I start work this morning. Luckily, the guitar / Orchestral Strings can be bought online while the others can be bought from the local grocery store 5 minutes from our house. When that’s done, I can start some website mockups and then head over to my daughter’s school to attend a parent-teacher meeting. Good thing I do work from home. No need to waste time traveling back and forth to work plus I can submit my deliverable any time of the day.
