Crazy Tom

Posted in entertainment on July 7th, 2010 by admin – Be the first to comment

Saw crazy Tom Cruise’s video again last night. It’s the one where he had too much testosterone cream and had to jump from Oprah’s sofa. That one is really priceless.

image

They always say how Tom is a nice guy and that sometimes it gets too much. To some, it seems like Tom Cruise is just one of the roles that he’s playing. However, from time to time, you’d see a glimpse of crazy Tom which we all love and adore! I hope this is Katie’s doing. They say that she is brainwashed and all that but what if it’s the other way around? That because of her, Tom has a reason to come out of his shell, not follow the rules and be crazy!

16. Tell me about your most recent trip of more than 100 miles?
The beach last May. We rented a private house with a pool and it was only a 5-minute walk to the beach. It was a perfect weekend that I dream of having a property there soon.

17. Which do you use more often, the dictionary or the thesaurus?
Dictionary. With a husband who writes for a living, I just feel conscious or perhaps a bit competitive when it comes to writing. I could never beat him though.

18. Do you have a nickname? What is it?
Can’t tell. You might use it to retrieve my passwords ;)

19. What are you dreading at the moment?
That I will give birth and no one will be around to drive me to the hospital.

20. Do you worry that others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Don’t care.

5. When you’re feeling down or lonely or just generally out of sorts, what do you do to cheer yourself up?

imageAre you a Facebooker? Are you addicted to those stupid games that suck a person in at the drop of a hat? Would you care to share your Facebook identification link so that we may all stalk you be your friend?
Yes but I never got addicted to it. I try not to check out the games because I have a tendency to be too competitive I’d probably won’t turn the computer until I’ve beaten everyone.

What kinds of cereal do you have in your home right at this very moment?
The good and fattening kind. Luckily, no one believes in those fad diets that work type of cereal in our house.

What is the strangest thing you have said to:
* get a job?
I could do anything that you want

No need to do anything because I rock! Seriously, you don’t need tricks when you’re a girl read more »

Saturday 9: Changes

Posted in entertainment, online life on May 15th, 2010 by admin – Be the first to comment

1. Tell us about one thing that you’d change about yourself if you could.
I’ll try not to be too controlling. And maybe try not to hoard too much or gossip a lot.

2. Mattel decides to make a Barbie-like (or Ken-like) doll of you — what would be the most important accessory or accessories they would absolutely have to package you with in order to portray your lifestyle? Most likely a laptop, an iPod and a kick-ass pair of boots.

3. Hey, do you like surprises? If yes, what kinds?
Yes, but it’s usually limited to the nice kind.

4. What was the last snail mail that you received that was significant? A pamphlet about
colonix reviews. It was significant because my father has been complaining a lot about his health lately and I want to have him try one of those colon cleansing products.

5. If you could pick out a brand new nickname for yourself, what would you choose and why?
Katie because I just love that name.

6. John Edward’s mistress was on Oprah this past Thursday. She stated that no third person can break up a marriage, so it had to be broken before the two started doing the nasty. Do you buy that?
That’s just BI. Okay, something must be wrong with the relationship in the first place but do you really want to be the reason for actually making it fall apart?

7. Do you think it is okay to keep secrets from your s/o?
Never if it can affect our relationship, finances and kids’ welfare.

8. Have you ever played Truth or Dare? If yes, what’s the weirdest dare that you did?
Yes. I was asked to walk with just my two-piece suit in a cold weather. Luckily, we were on the beach so it wasn’t that hard. Just chilly.

9. What, in hindsight, the stupidest thing that you have ever done?
Not buying properties when I was single. I should’ve invested more.

Weekly Wrap Up #53: Routinely

Posted in entertainment on February 13th, 2010 by admin – Be the first to comment

As we return to school and work and the holiday hustle settles, is there something that you look forward to doing again?
I would love to go out of town with the family. We just got back from our HK trip but you could look at it as a vacation from our vacation. HK was pretty tiring after all and we need to recover badly :)

What do you find most stressful about the holidays?
Visiting lots of relatives, planning too many parties and buying gifts for people I don’t even like. Plus there’s that extra weight that comes with the holidays that after all the drinking and eating, all you can think about are diet pills that work quick.

And how do you deal with that stress?
What else but through shopping of course! It’s the perfect stress-reliever to every women’s woes.

Wii or PS3

Posted in entertainment on February 4th, 2010 by admin – Be the first to comment

My husband and daughter couldn’t decide whether they’ll get a Wii or a ps3. I’d rather they don’t buy anything for two things. They can save money and they won’t be addicted. But of course, as long as my daughter finishes her school work and my husband helps around the house (hah!), I’d be more than willing to get one for them. Although I love to play video games from time to time, I don’t really see why some people spend all day and all night playing.

Celebrity Moms – Back in Shape in Weeks

Posted in entertainment, health, websites on January 15th, 2010 by admin – Be the first to comment

And now that I mentioned the new celebrity moms, let me just post a few photos of them three of four months after giving birth. You’d probably want to read on new diet pills that you don’t know about but this post is not about that. It’s to inspire you to lose that weight through regular exercise and healthy diet. And if you don’t know this yet, breastfeeding can make you lose weight so fast you’d be back in your old body in six to eight months.

image

Kelly Rutherford (6 weeks)

image

Heidi Klum (5 weeks)

image

Trista Sutter (5 months)

And I know 5 weeks is too much for mere mortals like us so let me share this snippet from eatsmartgetsmart.com

When a celebrity gives birth (often by a scheduled, voluntary c-section) many immediately receive a tummy tuck. Once they are home, they bring in their (already assembled and waiting in the wings) team of professionals whose sole duty is to get the celeb back into red carpet shape. Often a publicity deal is already in the works with a magazine selected to cover her miraculous return to the spot light.

This team is made up a personal trainer, a masseuse, yoga instructor, Pilates instructor, nutritionist and personal chef. More often than not, little pills are often taken. (Remember the Rolling Stones song, “Mother’s Little Helper”?) They devote their entire day to this. Every other annoyance is taken care for them. Changing diapers? Please!

Celebs and Their Bad Days

Posted in entertainment on January 14th, 2010 by admin – Be the first to comment

You probably think that celebrities never needed treatment for acne their whole lives. You’re wrong. Brittney Spears for one, is very popular with her acne breakouts. They just have more money to buy expensive treatments.

image image image

It’s the same thing with celebrity moms who magically go back to their old bodies. Either they have personal chefs to cook them South Beach meals or trainers barking at them 24/7 to exercise or a very expensive package with their favorite plastic surgeons.

Edward’s left hand is a bit weird but at least Bela looks like she’s more passionately in love here than afraid. The Cullens looked great too and close enough to how beautiful they were described in the book.

And may I say I had goose bumps just seeing the words “The Next Chapter Begins.”?

Great poster! More heart-stopping photos here. Click it, you won’t regret it.
