I can’t imagine ever depriving myself of cakes and pastries unless health is involved. My husband and I both love to eat with passion so dieting is always out of the question. We do exercise whenever our jeans start to become tight around the waist. But after that, we go back to eating like there’s no tomorrow. Which is fine as long as we don’t go over 10 lbs of our current weight. It’s important to watch how much we’re gaining because with our age, it’s so easy to let yourself go.
