Just something to keep the creative juices flowing whether you’re a photographer, designer, painter.

Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera. The term light painting also encompasses images lit from outside the frame with hand-held light sources.

And below are few wonderful examples of this technique which will leave you breathless. You can check the full collection here.

Just Great

Posted in online life, photography on March 18th, 2011 by admin – Be the first to comment

I’ve searched the net on how to get rid of blackheads on nose but I ended up with not one but two zits caused by the so-called natural ingredients that I applied. And as if the web is mocking me, I stumbled upon this article about Hollywood celebrities who go out without make up and they look great! It could’ve been easier to say that they only look good because of what they put on their faces. But this just shows you that life is never fair.

The Skinny List

Posted in fashion, photography, websites on January 5th, 2011 by admin – Be the first to comment

Here’s another edition of celebrities who’ll never need any Diet pills fat burners and what-not to look perfect. In fact, they are so underweight they could use several trips to Burger King. Some would think that at least, their problem is so easy to fix. According to reports however, gaining weight could be as difficult to obtain as trying to lose them. I know someone who drinks vitamins and appetite boosters (and she’s an adult!) just so she can have meat on her bones. But I digress, let me present – the Skinny list.

Shooting Outdoors

Just found the perfect gift for my photographer friend. Since he agreed to shoot my daughter’s baptism without charge (of course!), we’re showing our appreciation by getting him a pair of overshoes. I saw a pair being sold for as low as $65. It’s perfect since he does a lot of outdoor shoot and sometimes even in bad weather. It’s pretty cool that you can take it on and off when needed. Just wear it over your current footwear, no need to change! Now if I could just take a peek at his shoe size, then we’ll be all set.

America’s Next Anorexic

The contestants from America’s Next Top Model are getting thinner every season. This photo shoot looks like it’s called America’s top weight loss products if you ask me. No wonder teens even tweens (10-12 yr olds) are now wanting to diet for fear that they will get fat! Imagine hearing that from a 10-year-old. To be safe, ANTM producers throw in a token of one or two plus-sized models just to make sure that they don’t promote this kind of body type. They even pushed it as far as proclaiming one of those plus-sized models as the Top Model so maybe there’s hope.

Photo Boost

I got a new design task today which reminded me of acne treatment reviews. It was for a photographer’s portfolio and what I have to do is airbrush the faces of his models and clients. The pay is good and the job was exciting because I rarely get to flex my Photoshop muscles. Also, it wasn’t as bad as optimizing before and after photos of bad teeth which I had to do for a dentist a couple of weeks ago.

Anyway, I  just love Photoshop. If you’re a photographer or  just want to enhance your photos, you will love these new actions from Itty Bitty. I’ve been using them for two years and never regretted paying for them.
