Pre-Natal Care

Just because your friend thinks she’s taking best prenatal vitamin doesn’t mean it could be good for you too. Not all bodies are created equal and some women don’t need as much supplements. Myself is an example as I only drink one vitamin for the whole term. I know of a friend who has to drink 4 kinds just to keep herself and the baby healthy. It’s not because I’m healthier than she is, that’s just how our bodies were built. And just like what my OB tells me, plenty of nutrients included in the vitamins can be found on food and drinks as well.

Feeling Good

I can’t talk enough on how good I feel about myself right now. Ever since the 2nd trimester began, I’m more active and alert. Not that hungry all the time as well and I can even exercise for 5-10 minutes every morning. And I know I mentioned too many times how I don’t need any best wrinkle treatments because of my lovely skin. Working isn’t as hard now. I can finish all my deliverables in time and still have energy to spend time with my daughter or watch my favorite TV shows. I need to take advantage of this stage because I’m almost positive that things are gonna be hard when I reach 3rd trimester. It’s gonna be the start of sleepless nights and aching joints all over again!

Clear Skin

One thing I like about being pregnant is my clear skin. It seems all my wrinkles have disappeared and all that’s left is my face, 5 or 7 years ago. I’m not kidding! My anti wrinkle face creams are now placed behind other face creams and perfumes because I don’t see a need for them. Well, aside from the fact that I don’t want to put foreign stuff on my skin while I’m carrying a baby. I hope this beautiful skin lasts even after I give birth!

Say No to Dieting

Reading fat burner reviews used to be my past time when I noticed that I was gaining weight no matter how much I diet. It turned out I was pregnant and to my utmost happiness, learned that I don’t have to diet at all! On my first trimester, I are all kinds of food that I woudln’t normally eat because I’m afraid to gain weight. But since it was the only way I could cure my morning / whole day sickness, I indulged myself. And boy was it heaven whenever I eat something so good (or should I say bad) and so rich, regardless if it’s a crispy bacon or moist chocolate cake. Now that I’m on my 2nd trimester, I watch what I eat again but not as paranoid as I used to be. I know my baby deserves to have all the nutrients she needs so even though I eat a lot, I make sure they are healthy for the both of us.

The World of Little People

I’ve been meaning to blog about this but just couldn’t find the right time. I admit I’m saving this up because of how cool it is. Just don’t want to post it on any ordinary day but now that I can’t think of anything, let me introduce you to the wonderful world of the Little People.

The blog describes them as – “Little hand-painted people, left in London to fend for themselves”

Gold Vs. Paper

So why should one buy gold bullion? The reasons are plenty but the number one factor is that it can protect your money from inflation. For centuries, gold has been a quite indestructible piece of investment, therefore making it the best candidate for storing your money. But just like any other investments, diversifying is very important. You might want to try buying a mixture of gold, silver and platinum to reduce your risk. Still, precious metals can gain you higher returns than the normal bonds and stocks. If you’re interested, go and check out the US Gold Bureau website. They don’t only sell gold and silver but also offers plenty of useful articles that can help you decide which type of precious metal is right for you.

Beach Home

One of the things I’d like to have when I retire is a Florida vacation home. And I don’t want to rent it, I want to have my own property by the beach. It could have two rooms for all I care as long as it’s near enough the ocean that I can hear the sound of the waves crashing before I sleep and when I wake up each morning. And now that I’ve thought about it, it doesn’t have to be in Florida. To make this dream realistic, I’d probably settle anywhere safe (low crime rate), with white sandy beaches and affordable properties.

Wii or PS3

My husband and daughter couldn’t decide whether they’ll get a Wii or a ps3. I’d rather they don’t buy anything for two things. They can save money and they won’t be addicted. But of course, as long as my daughter finishes her school work and my husband helps around the house (hah!), I’d be more than willing to get one for them. Although I love to play video games from time to time, I don’t really see why some people spend all day and all night playing.

Excited

One more day before our Hong Kong trip! I’m so excited that I can’t concentrate on my glass tiles research for my mom. She’ll probably call me ten times today but I just can’t stop browsing one forum after another so I can maximize our trip. From shopping to cab rates to good eats, I need to take note of all of them because we rarely get to travel out of the country. We have to get our money’s worth! With the new baby coming in the next couple of months, I’m sure we won’t be able to go anywhere until she/he’s about 7 or 8 months.

Gadget Freak

I’m planning of selling our camcorder and then just buy a new one when we go to Hong Kong in two days. I wanted something that I can easily plug in and out of my laptop. However, practicality sets in because we don’t really use our camcorder that much. Plus I’m happy to use my Canon iXus to record stuff because the quality is so good and it’s very portable too. So now, I’ll just wait until the baby comes out before deciding on upgrading any of our gadgets. We have so much that I don’t think we’ll have to buy anything new. It’s just my shopaholic tendencies that’s making me want to check out the online stores and discount shops even if there’s no need.
